Opening Ceremony of CBSE Cluster III Badminton

DPS Gaya inaugurated the three-day CBSE Cluster-III Badminton Championship 2025-26 (Boys and Girls) on 1st August 2025. The chief guest, Shri Shashank Shubhankar, District Magistrate of Gaya, graced the ceremony with his gracious presence. He was warmly welcomed with a planter, followed by the customary Lighting of the Lamp. After the flag hoisting and a vibrant march-past by all the teams, the participants from 35 schools across Bihar and Jharkhand were administered the oath. Following the balloon releasing ceremony, the chief guest declared the tournament open. The event also featured a captivating dance performance by the students, adding a touch of cultural richness to the ceremony. The chief guest, in his address, inspired the young athletes with a powerful message to give their best, emphasising the importance of discipline and dedication, while the principal of the school highlighted the values of hard work and sincerity as the path to success. It concluded with the memento presentation to the chief guest, followed by the national anthem, marking a successful and inspiring start to the championship.
