Circular for Inter house Swimming Championship
At DPS Gaya, we believe in fostering a strong sporting culture, and swimming is no exception. Through this championship, we aim to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among our students. Let the waves of enthusiasm surge as we come together to celebrate the joy of swimming and the spirit of healthy competition.
We are excited to announce the eagerly awaited Inter house Swimming Championship, where talent and determination will take center stage. This prestigious event is open to both boys and girls from two categories: VI to VIII, and IX to XII.

The championship is open to all the students who are interested to participate in this championship. The students who take swimming classes outside the school campus may also participate, but they would have to show a certificate/slip of the same.

Housemasters/Housemistress, house tutors whenever they are free, they are advised to assemble by the pool to encourage the students.

RULES & REGULATIONS (For Swimming)
A student can participate in minimum one events.
Each participant must be in proper swimming costume. Caps are compulsory for Girls.
It is necessary to touch the finishing point (i.e. wall) in order to qualify for a position.
In the relay, each swimmer must touch the finishing point before the next participant enters the pool.
In case there are no participant & participating in an Event, then that event will not be conducted.
Participants must report 5 minutes prior to the events in proper swimming costume at the venue.
Changes in the name of the participants are not allowed during the competition.
All events will be conducted on the time trial basis and positions will be awarded accordingly.
If any participant does not turn up during the competition, the trial points of that house will be deducted.

- VI to VIII Boys & Girls
- IX to XII Boys & Girls
