80th independence day celebration

Freedom is never dear at any price. It is the breath of life. Freedom liberates the human spirit and inspires to look beyond differences. In a diverse country like India, patriotism serves as a unifying force bringing together people across castes, creeds, and religions. Delhi Public School Gaya celebrated Gaya celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day on 15 August 2026 with unparalleled nationalistic fervour and patriotic spirit. The momentous occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Shri Ram Naresh Sharma, Chairman of the Magadh Educational Trust, Gaya; Guest of Honour Dr M.S. Jamal, Principal of Magadh College of Education, Gaya; and the respected Principal of DPS Gaya. The unfurling of Indian Tricolour, followed by a soul-stirring rendition of our National Anthem, served as a poignant reminder of the unimaginable sacrifices made by our freedom fighters to liberate us from two centuries of British colonial rule. Students, marching proudly to the beat of drums, captivated the audience, rejuvenating the spirit of national pride and patriotism. Following this, all the distinguished guests were warmly welcomed with planters.
